It my favorite time of the year!!! Spring and Spring Training are just around the corner, which means baseball will be back soon!!!!!

Spring Training begins on Monday, February 26.

The pitchers and catchers for the New York Mets will report to Spring Training today! The First Spring Training Game for the New York Mets will occur in thirteen days!

The first pitchers and catchers workout for the New York Mets is scheduled to take place on Saturday. The position players for the New York Mets will report to Spring Training next Monday. The first position-players workout is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, February 21.

The position players for the New York Yankees will report to Spring Training on Sunday. The first position-players workout for the New York Yankees is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, February 20. The first Spring Training Game for the New York Yankees will occur in fourteen days!

NHL
Tonight, the New Jersey Devils will take on the Pittsburgh Penguins. The puck is set to drop at 7:30 p.m. in Continental Airlines Arena.

NBA
None of the local basketball teams will be in action until next Tuesday because of the NBA All-Star break.

Tonight, the McDonald’s NBA All-Star Celebrity Game presented by 2K Sports will take place. The tip-off for the NBA’s All-Star Celebrity Game is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino.

Tonight, the T-Mobile Rookie Challenge and Youth Jam will take place. The tip-off is scheduled for 9:00 p.m. at the Thomas & Mack Center.

Tomorrow, the NBA’s Development League All-Star Game will take place. The tip-off is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino.

NBA All-Star Saturday Night presented by EA Sports will take place tomorrow night. NBA All-Star Saturday Night will feature the following events: The Sprite Slam Dunk competition, the PlayStation Skills Challenge, the Foot Locker Three-Point Shootout and the Haier Shooting Stars competition. The tip-off for NBA All-Star Saturday Night is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. at the Thomas & Mack Center.

On Sunday night, the Eastern Conference All-Stars will take on the Western Conference All-Stars in the 2007 NBA All-Star Game. The tip-off for the 56th NBA All-Star Game is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.
